Join GGR for its 2021 season kickoff Driver Education event at Thunderhill Raceway! PCA-GGR's Driver Education events are focused on safety, fun and maximum track time.
This event also includes GGR's first Club Race of the 2021 season. (Registration for the Club Race can be found at: http://register.pca.org.)
We will be running the tried and true 3 mile east course - counterclockwise direction.
Potomac In-Car Instruction Protocol: In addition to following state and local health guidelines, including the usual mask wearing and social distancing, GGR has endorsed a protocol used by the Potomac Region of PCA, it having held several DE events in 2020 implementing specific practices and procedures for in-car instruction. If you are registering as a Student or as an Instructor, please review the Potomac Protocol here.
Video Ground School: Saturday, March 27, 2021 (time TBD).
At Track Orientation: Friday evening preceding the event. All are welcome.

Two Days (Sat/Sun) - $545.00 (Students $595.00)
One Day (Saturday) - $395.00 (Students $445.00)
Instructors:
Two Days (Sat/Sun) - $245.00
One Day (Saturday) - $195.00
Non-Driving Instructor - $0.00
Procrastination Fee:
Registration closes Sunday night midnight March 28. That nasty $100 procrastination fee goes into effect on March 21.
PCA - HPDE Insurance Program:
In June 2009, Porsche Club of America and Lockton Affinity announced the PCA - HPDE Insurance Program. This innovative program provides single-event physical damage coverage to PCA members who purchase the coverage through Lockton and attend High-Performance Driver's Education events. Over the past ten years many auto insurers have changed their policies to exclude coverage for claims "occurring on a surface used for racing," "at a high-performance driving event," or "use of an auto at a racetrack." Your existing auto insurance policy may not cover damage to your car at the track.
